12 Mar 2014
We are excited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Starling Chamber Orchestra with a special taping of the popular NPR radio program From the Top with Host Christopher O'Riley on April 2nd at CCM in Cincinnati.

The show will feature the Starling Chamber Orchestra and will include solo performances by several current and past Starling Chamber Orchestra participants. Twelve-year-old violinist Skye Park from Lexington, Kentucky, a member of the Starling Chamber Orchestra, will perform Elgar's Salut d'Amour.

Starling Chamber Orchestra alumni 2012 Naumburg Competition-winner Tessa Lark, 24, and Charles Yang, 25, both also From the Top alumni, and Jonathan Miron, 21, will perform "Romance" by Joseph Hellmesberger for three violins and piano. The program will also include a prize winning pianist from the Juilliard pre-college and a teenage horn player from San Francisco. For the grand finale, host Christopher O'Riley will join the Starling Chamber Orchestra in a Mozart piano concerto.  Don't miss this very exciting evening!
